We are a privately owned company with over 60 years of experience in the flag industry. Founded in 1965 in Detroit, Michigan by Jack Houser, the company relocated to Dearborn in the late 1970s, where Jack purchased a flag manufacturing warehouse in Alabama and opened The Flag Shop, a retail location for flags and banners.
In 1997, The Flag Shop and its parent company, JH Corporation, were acquired by K&A Corporation. In 2004, The Flag Shop moved to its current location at 11665 Levan Road in Livonia, Michigan.
The Flag Shop brand is built on providing the finest quality American-made flags at affordable prices, backed by personalized, knowledgeable customer service. Over the years, our product line has expanded from U.S. flags to nearly every type of flag imaginable, along with the hardware and accessories to display them properly.
